Through texts and visuals, and accompanied by recently recorded oral histories of participants of the 1944 Warsaw Uprising, the PMA will present the history of the occupation and the resistance of the Uprising. The Exhibition also considers the internment in POW camps, the liberation, and the life in exile of the Home Army veterans and residents of Warsaw of the last 70 years.
The event will also feature the official dedication of the bust of Marshal Joseph Pilsudski, donated by Mrs. Peggy Wysocki in honor of her parents, Felix B. & Virginia Wysocki.
The oral history recordings were made possible through grants from the Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, administered by the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Chicago.

Refreshments will be served.
Exhibit runs through the end of September.
