KISSIMMEE, Fla. (Jan. 13, 2021) – Pirate and Princess Weekends at Gaylord Palms have begun, offering a wide array of family-friendly activities on weekend dates now through March 7, 2021. From Pirate Outpost Invasion, an all-new immersive show, and a Pirate Speakeasy, to a resort-wide treasure hunt and pirate pool party, guests can embark on their own adventure and make exciting new memories.

NEW! Pirate Outpost Invasion: an immersive show experience allowing guests to hear tales of adventure and swashbuckling music, all while enjoying a sip of The Captain’s brew. But guests must take heed – pirates could invade at any time! To allow for social distancing, capacity is limited and advance online reservations are required.

NEW! A Pirate Speakeasy featuring relics from past treasure hunting voyages and the pirates who scoured the seven seas to retrieve them, as well as craft cocktails fit for a true buccaneer.

A Pirate Pool Party where guests can join Jolly Roger and his pirate crew for music, games and swashbuckling fun at Cypress Springs Water Park.

Princess Academy: an interactive show that allows guests to step into a world of fantasy as the story of The Princess and Swordmistress are brought to life.

Adventure Kids: Join the Club explores the natural world we live in with Adventure Kid Sophie, Seth the Sea Turtle, and the resort’s very own pirate, Ava the Alligator.

The Princess’s Shiny Stash Treasure Hunt where guests can explore the resort’s 4.5 acres of indoor gardens in search of The Princess’s precious treasures.

The nighttime Pirate & Princess Light Display in the resort’s St. Augustine Atrium features colorful lights and imagery including pirate ships, brilliant jewels, swords clashing, and more.

The Wildlife Rescue Experience presented by bubbly that guides guests throughout the resort to track down endangered species and help ensure that they are monitored for their protection. The virtual adventure highlights indigenous animals from Florida and, with the magic of augmented reality, brings them to life before the participants’ eyes.
