Yad, a 16 year old from Sulaimaniyah who collects old books, mostly mysteries. He enjoys swimming, listing to soft rock music, and watching action movies and comedies. This will be his first visit abroad and he is so excited to have the opportunity to come to Chicago!
Or,
Hannah, a 15-year old from Bozeman, Montana who plays clarinet in her high school concert band and plays the piano at home. She loves listening to music–mostly rap. She also enjoys biking, swimming and jumping on her trampoline…pretty much anything!
Or,
Jesse, a 17 year old from St. Johnsbury, Vermont, who loves hockey and traveling. He has been to Turkey, England, and China. He would like to major in international relations when he applies to college next year.
