“These museums and exhibits are born of love and respect for heritage,” Pappas said. “Together, they give Chicagoland its distinct character as a community of communities.”
An awards reception was scheduled for June 24 at 3 p.m. in Pappas’ office, Room 112 of the Cook County Building, 118 N. Clark Street, Chicago. Representatives of some 53 museums and exhibits were to attend.
