Atlas Arena jest kojarzona z sukcesami Reprezentacji Polski w siatkówce i piłce ręcznej. Po spektakularnym sukcesie NAC VII Super Finału PLFA, który 15 lipca 2012 r. na Stadionie Narodowym w Warszawie obejrzało 23 000 widzów nadszedł czas na zmagania międzypaństwowe.
W składzie reprezentacji naszego kraju zagrają najlepsi zawodnicy z 74 drużyn Polskiej Ligi Futbolu Amerykańskiego. Sztabem trenerskim pokieruje Maciej Cetnerowski, na co dzień szkoleniowiec główny mistrzów Topligi Seahawks Gdynia. Rywal Polaków w 2005 roku wygrał Mistrzostwo Europy. W 2015 roku w Szwecji odbędą się Mistrzostwa Świata w Futbolu Amerykańskim.

Poland vs. Sweden, February 2, 2013!
On February 2, 2013, the Polish national team will take on its counterpart from Sweden in an American football game at Atlas Arena in Łódź. The event will mark a historic debut for the White and Red.
Atlas Arena has been a venue of triumph for Poland in recent years, with the country’s national teams seeing success in international competition in both volleyball and handball. After the resounding success of PLFA NAC SuperFinal VII, played in front of 23,000 spectators on July 15, 2012 at the National Stadium in Warsaw, the time had arrived for the formation of a national team in American football.
The Polish team will be composed of players from the 74 teams of the Polish League of American Football (PLFA). Maciej Cetnerowski, Head Coach of the Topliga champion Gdynia Seahawks, will guide the Polish team into its first international battle.
As Atlas Arena is an indoor venue, the format of the play will be slightly different from usual. Arena football is a highly energetic version of the game, with spectacular plays being the norm. Fans are treated to thrills on practically every play.
– I expect it to be an very inspiring experience for our players, coaches and our fans. I want our team to experience such great event that I know the Polish federation is capable to deliver. Poland took the lead in Europe last summer and we need to learn and to get inspired by you. Besides that we expect a full arena and some great hard football! – said Tommy Wiking, President of the International Federation of American Football (IFAF) and Swedish American Football Federation (SAFF).
American football is a sport that combines strength, speed, cunning and carefully-developed strategy like no other. For that reason, it appeals to fans of all kinds, including both analytical ones and those seeking action. Success in no other sport is as dependent on the total cooperation of the team as in American football.
Because this no ordinary game, a competition of this magnitude requires a unique setting. Attractions are planned for the entire family, in a true American style. These will include numerous contests and prizes, cheerleaders and world-class musical performances. Arena football allows fans to get close to the action – fans can even take home footballs that end up in the stands!
