Poland scores first winter conquest of Broad Peak

WARSAW–Members of a four-man Polish mountain-climbing expedition were full of enthusiasm at the prospect of doing what had never been done before – climbing 8,047-meter (26,401-foot) Broad Peak in the Himalayas on the Sino-Pakistani border in winter.
