(Chicago, IL) Today Romney Illinois Chairman and Illinois State Treasurer, Dan Rutherford, announced that the official Romney Illinois debate-watching event for the October 16th Presidential Debate will take place at the Mayne Stage Theater in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood. This event, organized in partnership with Chicago Republican Party Chairman Adam Robinson, will also feature Republican candidates for Federal, state and county office.
Other sponsoring organizations include the 42nd Ward GOP, the 43rd Ward Republican Organization, the 48th Ward Republican Organization, the 49th Ward Republican Organization, the Chicago Young Republicans, and Chicago Republican Women’s Network.
“The Romney Illinois campaign isn’t giving up an inch of ground in this state without a fight,” said Romney Illinois Chairman and Illinois State Treasurer, Dan Rutherford. “We’re coming to Chicago and tapping into the excitement and enthusiasm for Mitt Romney, right here in the President’s hometown. “

The “Official Romney Illinois Debate Watching Event” will take place on Tuesday, October 16th from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM at the Mayne Stage Theater in Rogers Park (1322 W. Morse Ave). Treasurer Rutherford and Chairman Robinson will be available to media from 7:00-7:30 PM on premises, and during the 30 minutes immediately following the end of the televised debate. In addition, other Republican candidates for office will be available to media at the conclusion of the debate.
