Senate The bailout plan rejected earlier this Monday, has been approved by the US Senate.  The bill passed Wednesday (local time) evening by the majority of vote 74 to 25. 40 Democratic Senators, 33 Republicans and one independent Joe Liberman have voted in favor of the bill.

The senators together, made a clear statement on national TV that the successful bill acceptance was possible thanks to the intensive hard work of both Democratic and Republican parties.
