The Festival will take place on November 24 – 29 in the following theaters: Kinoteka, Swit – Targowek and in Jewish Historical Institute.
The Festival Opening is on November 24. The program includes premieres of the films awarded on many prestigious festivals all over the world, educational section concerning the history of Polish Jews organized for the students of secondary schools and for Palestinian group from Jenin, Palestine.
On the Festival Opening, there will be the opening of a photographs exhibition documenting the history of reconstructing the Cinema Jenin – the Palestinian Center for Peace and Culture.
The Awards Ceremony including awarding the winners with David s Cameras and the Festival Closing is on November 29.
Dear Friends,
We are the first Jewish Film Festival in Poland that has ever existed. We are sorry to announce that this year our Festival will be about 65 percent smaller, as the Capital City of Warsaw, the candidate for European Culture Capital 2016 did not support us financially. They made selection and did favorite other Jewish Film Festival in Warsaw.
We hope that we will succeed in organizing our international festival nevertheless.
We present films that has never been shown on any Jewish Film Festival in Poland before, therefore we will have several premieres of the documentaries and feature films concerning Jewish themes that have been shown and awarded during many prestigious Festivals, such as Cannes Film Festival, Berlinale, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (the Oscars).
Among the best films we will present:
ADAM RESURRECTED starring Jeff Goldblum, famous animation Mary and Max, Brasilian Oscar candidate THE YEAR MY PARENTS WENT ON VACATION, the first Kazakh production on our Festival THE GIFT OF STALIN, documentary ZWYCZAJNY MARZEC by Maria Zmarz-Koczanowicz and the remembrance of Marek Edelman – the last leader of the Warsaw Ghetto and many more good films.

Our Foundation launched in 2009 a new Festival in Warsaw KOLNOA – the Israeli Film Festival in Warsaw and Al – Seenima Palestinian Film Day, second edition of both separated events will take place in spring 2010.

Zapraszamy na 7 edycja naszego Festiwalu, dedykowanego w tym roku pani Barbrze Streisand.
Festiwal odbedzie sie w dniach w kinach KINOTEKA, SWIT – TARGOWEK oraz w ZIH: Zydowski Instytut Historyczny.
Otwarcie Festiwalu w dniu 24 listopada. W programie pokazy premierowe nagradzanych filmow na renomowanych zagranicznych festiwalach, programy edukacyjne o historii Zydow Polskich dla młodzieży z warszawskich szkol, oraz grupy Palestynskiej z Jeninu Palestyna.
W dniu otwarcia Festiwalu nastapi w ZIH otwarcie wystawy fotograficznej z historii odbudowy kina zarazem Centrum Pokoju i Kultury w Jeninie.
Zakonczenie Festiwalu w dniu 29 listopada rozdaniem nagrod KAMER DAWIDA w Kinotece.
Szanowni Panstwo,
Jesteśmy pierwszym zydowskim Festiwalem Filmowym w Polsce, jaki kiedykolwiek istniał. Dlatego z przykroscią informujemy, ze w tym roku Festiwal nasz bedzie o 65 procent mniejszy, poniewaz Miasto st. Warszawa – Kulturalna Stolica Europy 2016 – nie zdecydowało się wesprzec nas finansowo, dokonalo selekcji i uznalo ze finanse naleza sie innemu festiwalowi filmow zydowskich w Warszawie.
Mamy nadzieje, ze uda nam sie zrealizowac nasz miedzynarodowy Festiwal.
Nasza zasad a jest prezentowanie filmow, ktore nie byly wczesniej pokazywane na zadnym innym festiwalu zydowskim w Warszawie, dlatego i w tym roku bedziemy mieli kilkadziesiat premier dokumentow i fabul o tematyce zydowskiej nagradzanych i pokazywanych na prestizowych festiwalach takich jak: Cannes, Berlinale, Akademia Wiedzy i Sztuki Filmowej w USA (Oscary) i inne.
