Fraser Rubens and Maria Knapik have been shining stars of the Ottawaand Canadian Opera and concert scene for several years. Maria Knapik has an extensive resume of appearances as soloist withOrchestras and Opera Companies in Europe andNorth America, including appearances in the title roles ofTosca and Turandot with the New York Grand Operaand a production of Verdi’s Alzira at Carnegie Hall ,Ms Knapik has performed atthe Kennedy Center with Maestro Robert Shafer with his Grammy award winning chorusand as a special guest artist at the Annual Puccini Foundation Concert at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center.
She has performed to stellar reviews in title roles with Ottawa’s Opera Lyra. Fraser Rubens has enjoyed great success as both a leading Cardiac Surgeon and a Tenor.
