COMPTROLLER MUNGER MEETS WITH POLISH AMERICAN ADVISORY BOARD

 CHICAGO – Comptroller Leslie Geissler Munger kicked off the first Polish American Advisory Board meeting at the James R. Thompson Center, Wednesday, April 22 and highlighted the importance of open communication between government and community leaders in these tough economic times.

In a successful first meeting, the Board made brief introductions and got right to business discussing the state’s financial situation. The group spoke about the effects of state payment delays and shared details for minimizing financial hardships for small businesses. Meetings will be held regularly to maintain an ongoing dialogue.
