The faculty and students of Loyola University Chicago are happy to inform about the signing ceremony establishing the Polish Resistance (AK) Foundation Endowed Scholarship at Loyola University Chicago. The event will take place on Monday, September 27, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the grand rooms of the Piper Hall on the main campus of the University on Sheridan Road in Chicago. Home Army veterans and members of the Polish Resistance (AK) Foundation will be the honored guests.
It is the wish of the Donors that all assets from the Fund be used to provide scholarships for undergraduates studying history of Poland in the College of Arts and Sciences at Loyola University Chicago. The organizers of the event express their gratitude to members of the Polish Resistance (AK) Foundation and all individual donors for their exemplary support and contributions. The scholarships will enable many young researchers studying Polish history to increase awareness and understanding of Poland and its people among the American public.
