Dear Polish American Chamber of Commerce Members and Friends,
Our June 16 Business After Hours gathering was sponsored and hosted by Star-Tech Glass, Inc. A large crowd of PACC members, friends, and special guests was greeted by the management and friendly staff of the company known as the ‘new generation’ of quality custom glass specialists. During the short official part of the evening, PACC President Lucas Fuksa welcomed all attendees, thanked Tom Startek for his generosity, and recognized the presence of four Chicago Aldermen and other special guests.
The early part of the program also featured introductions of PACC’s newest members by PACC Vice President and Chair of the Membership Committee Stan Nowak. Those present had an opportunity to meet and greet Darek Kuczborski and Danuta Galanis of Wolf Driving School; Eric Finkelstein; and Steve Akins.
Additional speakers generated much interest as well. The special guests who spoke included Chicago Aldermen Deborah Graham (29); Nicholas Sposato (36); and Timothy Cullerton (38); and Harwood Heights Trustee Mark Dobrzycki. Ald. Ariel Reboyras (30) also attended, but could only meet and greet everyone during the first hour of the event. Ald. John Arena (45) was represented by economic development director John Riordan. Special remarks by Dr. Margaret Kamysz-Startek received much applause as well.
At the conclusion of the official part, Robert Stafecki informed everyone that parts of the meeting were streamed live via ARTV Chicago, and Chicago Fire representative Escobar spoke of plans related to another Polish Day at Toyota Park in October.
In addition to networking, attendees had an opportunity to tour the facility and even sharpen their golfing skills in an on-site golf simulator under the helpful and expert eye of Artur Rogowski of Golfer’s Paradise.
