PACC’s Summer Outing 2010

PACC

A Successful Celebration Again!

PACC CHICAGO, IL – The Polish American Chamber of Commerce (PACC) Annual Summer Outing and Boat Cruise was held Sunday, August 15, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. The event was a great success because of the good cheer brought aboard by PACC members, guests, entertainers and caterer. As the thrilling annual Air & Water Show was closing, the PACC outing’s music, dancing, food and drink, and celebratory atmosphere took over the heart of the city’s downtown area.

This year, close to 200 members and friends of the PACC enjoyed a cruise aboard the custom-designed luxury vessel Chicago’s First Lady on the Chicago River and along the shore of Lake Michigan. The outing featured live music by Dixi Kings, heavenly (as in Heaven On Seven) Mardis Gras – style food, breathtaking views, and the usual great company.

To relive the fun, a gallery of photos will soon be available on the PACC website.

“Even though each year we consider different options and ideas for a summer event, we always choose the boat cruise due to the large interest by members and guests – this year again we had more participants than previously!  Clearly, each year the event is different and unique in its own way.

The PACC keeps growing and evolving, as does the downtown area and the city’s skyline, and so the annual cruise provides the ultimate setting to observe these changes,” explains the PACC President, Lucas Fuksa.
