CHICAGO— In 2011, ART FOR HEART debuted as a fundraising art show benefiting two well-known Chicago institutions: The Polish Museum of America and Gift from the Heart Foundation/Dar Serca. This year, Art for Heart promises to return for its ninth year even bigger and better!! Art for Heart 2019 is proud to present Chicago’s talented Polish and Polish-American artists and share their works with the community. The exhibit, showcasing the latest works by renowned contemporary Polish and Polish-American Artists, runs between Sept 7th and 21st; at the Polish Museum of America (984 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, IL 60642).
The Opening celebration takes place Saturday, Sept 7th from 7-11 p.m. Meet the artists and enjoy a night surrounded beautiful art, warm people, lively music, tasty appetizers, and a cash bar. Tickets are available at www.artforheartchicago.org; and will be available for $20 at the door or online. All original artwork will be available for sale. Souvenir program books will be available (while supplies last) featuring the hosting institutions, all the artists and the official Art for Heart 2019 sponsors.
100% of the net proceeds from Art for Heart will jointly benefit Gift from the Heart Foundation (Dar Serca) and The Polish Museum of America.

Gift from the Heart Foundation, or Dar Serca, is a non-profit 501 (c) organization that helps children with disabilities receive the medical treatment that they urgently need. The Foundation brings seriously ill and disabled children from European countries to the US and helps them receive high-quality medical care and treatments that are unattainable in their home countries. Over the past 32 years, Gift from the Heart Foundation has helped over 900 children receive modern medical treatments from the highest-quality clinics in the United States.
The Polish Museum of America is one of the oldest and largest ethnic museums in the United States and offers visitors a range of exhibits, resources and activities related to Polish history, culture and heritage, as well as Polish-American history. Its all-inclusive exhibits and cultural events are both educational and entertaining while supporting the entire community. It’s Library and extensive Archives have rendered invaluable services to historians, researchers, students and genealogists.
