Combined AICC/PACC Networking Event – success again!

Trison CHICAGO, IL (November 10, 2010) -The November 8, 2010, combined America Israel (AICC) and Polish American Chamber (PACC) networking event was a great success. Even more so than a similar event last year, members and friends of both organizations came ready to network, and to have fun. PACC’s Executive Director Bogdan Pukszta, who mc-ed the official part of the evening, thanked Michael Traison, who serves as a Board member of both chambers, for his contribution as the main sponsor and host of the reception, which was held on the 44th Floor of the John Hancock building in downtown Chicago..

During the short official program, in addition to Traison, those who offered their remarks included PACC President Lucas Fuksa; AICC Executive Director Michael Schmitt; Aleksandra Krystek of the Consulate General of Poland in Chicago; Deputy Consul General of Israel, Shahar Arieli; Steven Slivnick, Director of Business and Trade at Israel’s Economic Mission / Midwest; Honorary Consul of Lithuania, Stanley Balzekas, Jr.; and Piotr Kurylo, a very special guest who stopped by in Chicago while running around the whole world, for peace.

Announcements by Malgorzata Cieslak of the Polish American Association, Krystyna Rucinska of the Gift of Life Foundation, and Stan Bernacki of the Paderewski Association generated much interest as well.

FUKSA Excellent food, Israeli wine, samples of Sobieski, and magnificent night-time views of Chicago set the background to the atmosphere and celebratory moods of the standing room only crowd representing diverse businesses and institutions from across Chicagoland, Israel, and Poland.

In addition to those who spoke during the official part of the evening, guests included Honorary Consul General of Nepal, Marvin A. Brustin.

“Networking opportunities such as today’s give our members a very valuable opportunity to integrate with members of another organization and to make more new international business contacts than during our usual monthly gatherings,” explained Lucas Fuksa.

Networking “The fact that the great majority of members of both chambers have their roots in the same soil, and that the entrpreneurial talents of each are substantial, only made the business networking much more significant yet natural at the same time,” added Michael Traison.
