Chicago, October 2, 2009—Victor Forys’, Democratic Candidate for the 17th District of the Cook County Board of Commissioners, White Eagle Fundraiser was a great success with hundreds of supporters, elected officials and fellow candidates attending the event held on September 29, 2009.

“I’m extremely pleased with the success of our first fundraising event,” said Victor Forys. “It is always amazing to see so many people turn out to show their support. I’m honored and humbled by it and look forward to continuing to earn their support on the Cook County Board.”

Also in attendance were Alderman Toni Preckwinkle, Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago Commissioner Frank Avila, and Cook County Circuit Court Judge and Appellate Judge Candidate Aurelia Pucinski.
“It was a pleasure to attend Victor Forys’ event,” said Aurelia Pucinski, Cook County Circuit Court Judge and Candidate for Appellate Court Judge. “The turnout was remarkable and I’m excited to see Victor as a candidate for the Cook County Board. The board could use someone like Victor to create real reform and medical expertise.”

The event was successful in raising thousands of dollars for Citizens for Forys campaign. Victor Forys has received the endorsements of Congressman Mike Quigley (D-IL), Cook County Board Commissioner Forrest Claypool and Cook County Board Commissioner Larry Suffredin.
