CHICAGO (05/19/2011)(readMedia)– Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel presents Sgt. Shane Wheatley of Elgin, a placard for his outstanding service as a Chicago-area National Guard recruiter during the Armed Forces Luncheon May 19 at the Union League Club in Chicago.
The event, which was held to acknowledge Armed Forces Week, was Emanuel’s first Armed Forces Luncheon as Chicago mayor.
