Chicago, IL (July 29, 2011) – Weather uncertainties on Thursday, July 28, did not have much effect on the Polish American Chamber of Commerce (PACC) annual Golf Outing, which was held at Eaglewood, the par-72 18-hole championship USGA – certified golf course located in Itasca, Illinois.

Play on the greens was followed by an award and networking reception that started inside the Brown Refreshment Break Area and continued into late evening hours on the Wisteria Rooftop Terrace overlooking the rolling green fairways and majestic oak trees of the Eaglewood.

Guests included Sylwester Skora, who is a candidate in the Polish parliamentary elections later this year, and who used the networking reception as an opportunity to meet and greet chamber and community members in attendance.

We thank everyone who golfed, or spent just a part of the day with us. While  everyone who participated in the 2-men best ball outing was a winner, the following players ended up with the best scores: Bartosz Bak/Micah Shields (1st place); Waldek Czerpak/Piotr Wyszkowski (2nd place); and Jerry Malachowski/Ted Sojda (3rd place). Congratulations also go to all raffle prize winners.

And in addition to Arthur Rogowski’s Golfers Paradise and the Polish American Golf Club (PAGC) as co-sponsoring organizations, much appreciation goes to all sponsors, including Fuksa Khorshid, LLC; H&L Homes; FYI, Inc.; IDEA Furniture; Wolf Driving School; Gordon & Pikarski; DAXAM, Inc.; Integra Insurance; Neptun Mobile; and Star-Tech Glass.

“One of our main goals as a Chamber, is to facilitate commercial contacts and build relations. I think that in the US, no other sport can enhance a business relationship more effectively than golf; that is why we golfed today and already look forward to our outing next year,” said PACC President, Lucas Fuksa.
