PACC Summer Outing 2011 – A Successful Celebration Again!

Cruise

The event was a great success because of the good cheer brought aboard by PACC members, guests, and entertainers. After the thrilling annual Chicago Air & Water Show closed, the PACC outing’s music, dancing, food and drink, and celebratory atmosphere took over the heart of the city’s downtown area.

 Cruise

This year, close to 200 members and friends of the Chamber enjoyed a cruise adventure aboard the custom-designed luxury vessel Chicago’s First Lady on the Chicago River and along the shore of Lake Michigan. The outing featured live music by Dixi Kings, heavenly (as in Heaven On Seven) Mediterranean – style food, breathtaking views, and the usual great company. For the first time in the history of PACC boat outings, on-board putting green was available for those who wanted try their skill, or luck, in golf.

“Even though each year we consider different options and ideas for a summer event, we always choose the boat cruise due to the large interest by members and guests. Clearly, each year the event is different and unique in its own way. The PACC keeps growing and evolving, as does the downtown area and the city’s skyline, and so the annual cruise provides the ultimate setting to observe these changes,” explains the PACC President, Lucas Fuksa.
