Dear PACC Members and Friends,
Chicago,Il- To confirm the universal sentiment that this summer has been flying by, the PACC has kept up the pace so far with even more activities planned to carry the season’s energy forward.
On July 9, we were pleased and honored to host a meeting with IL State Senator Iris Y. Martinez several days before her trip to Poland as part of Illinois meat industry delegation. We hope the trip was fun, productive, and rewarding.
On July 11, PACC representatives enjoyed Ald. Ariel E. Reboyras’ Wrigley Rooftops event, which featured great company, unobstructed views, and a Cubs’ win as well!
During the second weekend of July, we were very privileged to attend the 7th Annual Hungarian Gulyas Festival. We thank all of our Hungarian friends for their hospitality and good company. We relished the taste of real gulyas from many kettles, and look forward to reconnecting with our new Chicago-area Hungarian friends at this year’s Taste of Polonia! A bigos cook-off, anyone?
As the summer continues, we look forward to relaxing and savoring the best of Chicago and its people by cruising along the Chicago River and the shores of Lake Michigan aboard theCelebration on Sunday August 17.
We are also anticipating a great turnout for Labor Day Weekend’s Chicago signature event – Taste of Polonia. And just a few days later, we will be in full swing with our Sept. 5 Golf Outing, which we’re increasingly confident will be a sell out. So, if you’d like to golf with us, please sign up soon to secure your place on the greens.
