A few hundred thousands residents of Cook County benefit from different food programs
provided by the Chicago Food Depository each month.
There is a huge demand for food programs in Cook County and across the USA.

The 28th Annua l Hunger Walk steps off on Saturday, June 29th at Soldier Field.
It promises to be bigger than ever: People from across Chicagoland will come together for a 5K walk along the lakefront — all to raise money and awareness for the fight against hunger in our community. The Hunger Walk is one of the largest anti-hunger rallies in the nation as people of all ages and neighborhoods gather under our shared belief that no one should go hungry.
