First Round – February 6th; online performances on KF YouTube Channel

Second Round – February 12th and 13th; online performances on KF Youtube Channel 

Semifinal Round – February 25th; live performances by 6 semifinalists at the St. Ann Catholic Church in Washington D.C., broadcast live on KF Youtube Channel 

Final Round – February 27th;  live performances of Piano Concerti by Frederic Chopin by three finalists with members of the National Philharmonic and Maestro Piotr Gajewski

Award Ceremony February 27th; final concert and reception

at the Residency of the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland

Kosciuszko Foundation’s Chopin Piano Competition was established in 1949, in honor of the hundredth anniversary of the death of Frédéric Chopin. Continuously, the Competition encourages gifted young pianists to further their studies and to perform the works of Polish composers.
