At the last Olympic Games in Korea, the Norge Ski Club in Fox River Grove placed three of the four-man athletes on the Olympic Team.
The competition begins at noon on Saturday with the junior skiers on the smaller hills, followed by a competition on the big 70 meter slide.
Then on Sunday, all of the top gun jumpers will compete on the 70 meter giant 150 foot tower, all starting again at noon.
All this excitement takes place Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 21 and 22. Admission is $15 at the gate or just $10 pre-sale at several are merchants. Go to norgeskiclub.com for pre-sale locations. Several food trucks will be on hand serving great selections from gourmet grilled cheese, to slow cooked BBQ, to over roasted pizza.
