Rush defensive back Vic Hall’s three interceptions gave him 13 for the season to set an AFL record.
The Rush offense broke away in the fourth quarter, going on a 28-7 scoring run. Quarterback Russ Michna finished with 20-for-28 passing for 243 yards with six touchdowns and no interceptions. Receivers Reggie Gray, Derek Lee and Charles Dillon each tallied two touchdowns.
“After a sloppy first half we came out and played Rush football throughout the second half,” Rush head coach Bob McMillen said. “I liked how we finished the game.”
The Rush (9-3) have a bye next week before traveling to battle the defending ArenaBowl Champions, the Spokane Shock (4-7), on June 18.
