DANCE WORKSHOP IN YOUNGSTOWN

 

It is designed for Polish Folk choreographers and advanced individual dancers and singers that want to enhance their skills. The 5-hour session will introduce participants to the creativity of the Mazowsze style.  Principles of this legendary and storied group will present practical information and step work that can be incorporated into Polonia culture groups.

 

Also on December 5, a Christmas style dinner and dance is also planned with the troupe.

The evening will include an 18-piece orchestra and 20-person Mazowsze choral.  This is all part of the Polish Arts Club of Youngstown, annual Wigilia Dinner at the Youngstown Polish Club.  This event is open to the public.  Mazowsze will perform in Detroit at the Music Hall on December 4, at 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM.  Tickets are available at www.mypolishtimes.com .

On Monday, December 6, the entire Mazowsze troupe will be performing at the State Theater in Cleveland.  Special mezzanine seats are reserved in a Polish Youngstown bloc. For $32 and $42 pp, these special seats include a cast party with the Mazowsze performers after the show.
