The Chicago Chapter of Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation launched in 2008 with a signature benefit event at the House of Blues® featuring comedian Chelsea Handler of E!’s Chelsea Lately. This Chicago event is just the beginning of the new era of community-based volunteer engagement and leadership among Christopher Reeve and the Foundation supporters throughout the country. The Chicago Chapter is the flagship for this model and an example for others to replicate in raising awareness and support as well as in serving our community members.
