HOCKEY PHOTO CONTEST

As part of the Hockey Day in Michigan festivities, The Central Collegiate Hockey Association and Perani’s Hockey World are conducting a photo contest.  Hockey Day in Michigan is January 30, 2010.

The protocol is simple; just send photos of your backyard rink.

The league announced that each e-mailed photo of a backyard ice rink in action to [email protected]  by Jan. 27 will receive two tickets to watch Michigan and Michigan State play at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit on Saturday, Jan. 30.

The best pictures that are received will be displayed in a photo gallery on CCHA.com as part of Hockey Day in Michigan celebrations across the state.

Skating enthusiasts who are interested in creating their own backyard rink can go to www.peranis.com  for all the materials and instructions necessary.
