Polish American Medical Society Scholarship Application Now Open: Deadline March 30, 2025
Dear Members and Friends of the Polish American Medical Society,
We are pleased to announce that the Polish American Medical Society is now accepting scholarship applications. The deadline for the Annual Academic Scholarship Application is March 30, 2025.
The Polish American Medical Society grants over a dozen scholarships annually to students of Polish descent in the Chicago area pursuing studies in medicine, dentistry, or veterinary medicine at universities in the United States and Poland. Candidates are evaluated on academic record, with a GPA above 3.0 required, scientific accomplishments, interests, and involvement in the Polish community.
One of the primary missions of the Polish American Medical Society is to fund scholarships for students pursuing medical education. The annual Charity Physicians’ Ball, a tradition of over 70 years, is our main fundraising event. PAMS also receives and is grateful for donations from businesses, organizations, and individuals, and appreciates their continuous support. Efforts to sustain this fundraising activity rest on the shoulders of successive Presidents and the Board of Directors of PAMS.
Many past PAMS scholarship recipients are now medical specialists who support the Polish community and actively participate in PAMS initiatives. Working collaboratively, Polish doctors provide our community with reliable health information, guidance, and quality medical care.
We encourage future scholarship recipients to join us in continuing the successful work of the Polish American Medical Society. The scholarship application deadline is March 30, 2025.
