Statement by Frank J. Spula, President of the Polish American Congress, regarding the presidential elections.
Dear Officers, PAC Presidents and Directors,
After deep reflection and with a profound sense of gratitude, I am announcing that I will not seek reelection for the office of President of the Polish American Congress.
Serving in this role has been one of the greatest honors of my life. It has been both a challenge and deeply rewarding experience — one that has tested my resolve, strengthened my convictions, and deepened my love for this organization and the people it serves. I am proud of what we have accomplished together, and I remain confident in the path we have charted.
For the past 80 years, only four individuals from one organization, the Polish National Alliance,
have held this office. That legacy speaks to the strength, vision, and continuity of leadership that have guided us through decades of change. Now the time has come to pass the torch, to open the door for new voices, younger leaders, flesh perspectives, and renewed energy to carry our mission forward.
I will continue to serve with dedication until the end of my term at the annual meeting. I strongly believe in the importance of change, while also honoring the guiding principles on which our organization was founded and has prospered. I pledge my full support to ensure a smooth and thoughtful transition.
My commitment to our shared values and goals remains unwavering, and I look forward to contributing in new ways in the years ahead.
Thank you for the trust you have placed in me. It has been my privilege to serve you and our remarkable Polish American community.
With respect and gratitude,
