(June 9, 2014 – Chicago, IL) – Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA), a HUD Certified non-profit, is offering Chicago area homeowners a last chance to stop the foreclosure of their home and make their mortgage affordable during the nation’s largest and most effective homeownership event. NACA’s American Dream Tour Event will be at the Hyatt Regency Chicago from Thursday June 12th through Monday, June 16th, with doors open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. New home buyers have the opportunity to obtain America’s Best Mortgage. Homeowners with unaffordable mortgages can reduce their monthly payment. ALL SERVICES ARE FREE.
NACA’s American Dream Tour event, gives homeowners the opportunity to meet face to face with their lender with a NACA advocate to obtain an affordable solution the same day. Many homeowners have their interest rate reduced to as low as 2% and sometimes a principal reduction, saving hundreds and sometimes over a thousand dollars a month in their mortgage payment. NACA has done over 140 American Dream events with five previous events in the Chicago area assisting over a quarter-million people nationwide.
Because of the mortgage crisis still facing Chicago, NACA has returned to conduct one LAST event to help struggling homeowners in the Chicago area. It is crucial that everyone in the areas with an unaffordable mortgage take advantage of meeting with their lender for a same-day solution to their unaffordable mortgage. Since all of the NACA’s services are free, homeowners have everything to gain and nothing to lose. Realty Trac notes that there are currently 21,896 properties in Chicago alone that are in some stage of foreclosure.
NACA has legally binding contracts with all the major lenders and investors to get this done with counselors and bank representatives are on hand to provide face-to-face solutions. “NACA continues to be relentless in advocating for the homeowners” states Bruce Marks NACA CEO. “We do not take no for an answer and encourage the homeowners to continue to advocate. This includes filing complaints with the regulators such as CFPB to have them monitor the decisions of the lenders.”
NACA’s Home Save and Purchase programs have been highlighted on the national and local news as the most effective in providing affordable homeownership. This includes home buyers who can qualify at the event for NACA’s best in America mortgage: no down payment, no closing costs, no points or fees, everyone receives the below market interest rate without consideration of their credit score.
For many Americans, the dream of home ownership has either become a nightmare or an illusion. NACA Founder & CEO Bruce Marks hopes, through the efforts of NACA, people in Chicago and the surrounding Illinois area can save their homes and again realize the dream of affordable homeownership.
