Friends and Family,
We contact you today with a heavy heart. On Saturday October 13th our father and grandfather, Wesley Adamczyk, passed away. The moment was peaceful and in the presence of family. In honor of his life there will be two events which we wish to share with you.
Sunday October 28th, 2018 – 351 Kelburn Apt. 114 Deerfield, IL – Noon to 7pm
The Adamczyk Family will be hosting an open house at Wesley’s Condo. We will serve traditional Polish Hunters Stew, Bigos, as well as coffee and Polish deserts. At this time we will display artifacts of his life and work, read selected excerpts from his book, When God Looked The Other Way, and tell stories about Grandpa. There is no particular schedule, so feel free to drop by whenever you wish. For those so inclined, we would love if you would come with some photos, your favorite memory with Grandpa, or whatever you wish to share!
Sunday January 6th, 2019 – Location TBD – Time TBD
The Adamczyk Family will also be hosting a Memorial Dinner on January 6th. Details of this events will be announced in the short future, and we hope you can all attend.
As you all know, Wes was a very popular man, and we encourage this message to be forwarded along to whomever may wish to pay their respects and celebrate his incredible life. Due to his popularity, we hope you respect our decision to keep the burial between family.
Wesley requested no flowers, rather he would like donations to be made, in his name, to his favored organization for blind children in Laski, Poland. Please see below on how to donate:
