This year a design evolved around Lucky 13. The design is a collaboration of four firms: Amshel and RoS, Nathalie Studio, Exclusive Stone, and Atlantis Jewelry.

This year Contr-Actors (all are members of PACBA) gave a unique interpretation of Abba’s music. Walter Bochenek, past president of PACBA, wrote four songs that capture the current crisis and hopes the administration of president Obama might deliver. The text is truly quite fitting and at the same time entertaining.

Eva Sieradzki represented the Office of the Governor of the State of Illinois. Virtually all major Polish American organizations participated in the ball. Business community has been dominated by the construction industry — Home Depot, Remodelers Supply Center, RCR Concrete, Electrical Network, Royal Stairs, Techpol Automation, Ralf K Construction and dozens more.

Polvision taped the show and conducted interviews. Dziennik Zwiazkowy, a Daily Polish News, wrote a piece about the ball. Jacek Niemczyk of Polvision hosted flawlessly the ball. We danced to the tunes of Marek Przeradowski’s band.
