Illinois State Treasurer Dan Rutherford Announces Assets of Illinois 529 College Savings Plans Have Topped $5 Billion
CHICAGO– May 29, 2013 – Illinois State Treasurer Dan Rutherford is proud to announce that assets of the treasurer’s 529 college savings plans, Bright Start and Bright Directions, have grown from $3.7 to more than $5 billion in the past two years.
