By campaigning aggressively throughout the district on such issues as expanding Medicare coverage to those over the age of 49, and immigration fairness and justice, Dr. Victor Forys has caught fire as the only viable alternative to the political status quo in Chicago politics.
In the ethnic communities, the campaigns of Sara Feigehnoltz, John Fritchey, and Mike Quigley have failed to take hold. In contrast, the campaign of Dr. Victor Forys has taken hold throughout the rest of the district including on the Lakefront amongst lakefront liberals and with every other ethnic group in the district. In addition Dr. Forys has become the choice of middle class working families facing economic hardships that are afraid of losing their jobs and losing their health insurance.
His campaign has went viral over the internet and thousands of people are now calling the campaign office offering to volunteer and get involved.
Victor Forys said, “This thing has grown beyond my wildest expectations … What we have started here is a real grassroots movement for change and progressive reform on the Northwest Side of Chicago”
“In Poland it took an electrician, not a politician, to bring reform and democracy. In the United States it will take a medical doctor to bring health care and economic reforms to help ordinary people,” said Dr. Victor Forys.
