Durbin, Quigley Introduce Resolution Expressing Sympathy to Polish People on Death of President, Leaders
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Representative Mike Quigley (D-IL) today introduced identical resolutions in both the Senate and House of Representatives expressing sympathy to the people of Poland over the death of President Lech Kaczynski and 95 others who were killed in a plane crash.

ACPC Scholarships for Summer Studies in Poland
The American Council for Polish Culture (ACPC) Scholarship Committee Chair, Mrs. Camille Kopielski, announces the availability of applications for the 2010 Summer Studies in Poland Scholarship Awards. Winners receive $2,000 toward summer study at a university of his/her choice in Poland. To be considered the applicant must submit all application documents timely so that they are received by Mrs. Kopielski no later than April 1, 2010. Two scholarships are available for this year.
PNA Centennial Dancers Celebrate 30th Anniversary

PLYMOUTH, Michigan – The stage was set, the klieg-lights went on and the resounding applause signified a well deserved Bardza Dobrze, for the PNA Centennial Dancers last Saturday. The group was celebrating its 30th anniversary with two shows at the Cherry Hill Village Theatre in Canton, Michigan.

In a generous example of humanism, charity and solidarity, five local union members went above and beyond the call of duty.
United Air Lines Flight Attendants, Meg Mikesell, Paul Antuna, Kathy Browne, Tony Retkowski and Gerald Sermana donated their time on a recent Haiti relief flight. They are all Chicago based.
