Dr. Victor Forys: “Give Immigrants a Fair Shake”

Chicago – Victor Forys, M.D. unveiled his immigration program at a press conference  today in Chicago.

Dr. Forys “The U.S. Immigration system is broken. We should have a rational immigration policy that is not racist. Far too often people of color are singled out and persecuted..” said Dr. Victor Forys.

Dr. Victor Forys immigrated to the United States with his family when he was four years old and grew up in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago.  He understands first hand the plight of immigrant families who are new to this country.

“Our nation needs workers. Other countries in the world are dealing with depopulation. Thankfully, the U.S. population is growing. We need an immigration system that allows good, hardworking people to come to our country and become productive members of our society and our economy. We need a comprehensive immigration solution that will reform the entire system, not just one piece at a time. People should be treated with dignity. Since September 11th, some immigration authorities have become unreasonable and unfair towards travelers entering this country,” said Dr. Forys. Dr. Victor Forys unveiled the rest of his plan and outlined it at his Saturday press conference. […]

Victor Forys Versus Mike Quigley, Sara Feigenholtz, and John Fritchey.

Dr. Forys Dr. VIctor Forys today unveiled his new posters meant to pay homage to Roman Pucinski, the late great Chicago Polish political leader.

The title of the new Forys poster is “Victor Forys Pays Homage to Roman Pucinski” and it is a homage to the great old Democratic party posters of the past that showcased Roman Pucinski.

Unlike the posters for Sara Feigenhotz, Mike Quigley, and John Fritchey, Victor Forys’ posters have a unique style and artistic value that are lacking in most contemporary campaign posters.

The originality of Dr. Forys’ message, media, and campaign has catapulted him into first place in early voting in the IL-5 congressional district.

Dr. Victor Forys: Get Our Economy Back on Track

Getting Our Economy Moving Again

Dr. Forys We must get our economy back on track. The economic strength of the United States is our greatest asset and we must do all that we can to strengthen our economy and get people back to work. Our country is in an economic downturn the likes of which we have not seen since the Great Depression. Our businesses, small and large, are struggling. Employees of these companies are feeling the effects – lower wages, reduced hours or even layoffs.

Dr. Forys knows what it takes to run a business and he knows the challenges that business owners face every day. Dr. Forys is a physician and manages a large medical clinic with his wife and other doctors. Doctors are small business people who have to manage budgets, make payrolls and create jobs. Being in business is hard work and it has taught Victor a lot – and it is getting harder.

Victor Forys believes that we must pass a stimulus plan, help our small businesses grow and reduce the cost of health care. Health care is an economic issue and we cannot fix our economy long-term without addressing our health care crisis.

Dr. Victor Forys Ahead of Mike Quigley, Sara Feigenholtz, John Fritchey, O’Connor in Early Voting.

Dr. Victor Forys Leads All Candidates in Early Voting for IL-5 Congressional Seat To Replace Emmanuel.

Dr. Forys According to an analysis done by Polish News of early voters who have voted in the fifth congressional district, over 25% of the voters are ethnic Polish surnames and first names and were identified by Polish News as Dr. Forys voters using sophisticated voter ID software.

It was observed by a certain disgruntled and grumpy worker for another campaign that “too many Polish people are coming out to the polls” for early voting. There was a line outside the doors of Wright College on the last day of early voting and the only language that could be heard being spoken was Polish.

With 12 candidates in the race to replace Rahm Emmanuel, maintaining 25% through the end of of voting on Tuesday will help Victor Forys achieve victory in this upcoming election.  Dr. Forys asked everyone that believes in change, reform, and overthrowing the Chicago machine to go to www.VictorForUs.com.

Wywiad z kandydatem do kongresu US, dr Victorem Forysiem

Dr. ForysGregory Akko: Jest Pan kandydatem na stanowisko Kongresmena USA z 5-go dystryktu w stanie Illinois.

Pragnę reprezentować ponad 620 tysięcy (345 tys. zarejestrowanych wyborców) mieszkańców 5-go dystryktu, w tym 111 tys. (17%) Amerykanów polskiego pochodzenia w kongresie USA. Rosnące niezadowolenie w społeczeństwie do polityków i sytuacji ekonomiczno-gospodarczej, przyśpieszyło moją decyzje.

State shuts down $2 million property flipping scheme

IDFPR highlights warning signs for Illinois homeowners with troubled loans and provides tips to avoid mortgage scams

Illinois SealCHICAGO – The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) recently shut down a scheme that involved nearly $2 million in fraudulently obtained loans. IDFPR charged that Pablo E. Pabon of Chicago, in his capacity as a loan originator, was a key participant in at least two mortgage fraud conspiracies and was paid a percentage of the value of each loan. IDFPR is advising homeowners to be wary of such mortgage scams, especially if they already are in foreclosure or behind in payments.

“With the unfortunate and unprecedented increase in mortgage foreclosures, we also are concerned about an increase in mortgage fraud.  Homeowners confronting financial challenges should first talk and try to work with their mortgage lender,” said Michael T. McRaith, Acting Secretary of IDFPR. “The Department’s recent enforcement action should remind unscrupulous brokers that we remain vigilant in our efforts to protect consumers. We simply will not tolerate fraudulent or abusive activity in real estate transactions or mortgage schemes.”

“The state of the economy is one opportunity for criminals to take advantage of individuals with deceptive schemes,” said Thomas Byrne, Chief of Detectives for the Chicago Police Department. “The Chicago Police Department needs cooperation from people and organizations to help protect the public from these fraudulent acts.”
